Planning Engineer

Job Description

China State Construction Middle East (CSCEC ME) is recruiting a Planning Engineer to join Planning team in a newly awarded large scale High Rise Tower Project in Dubai, UAE.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare tender & master schedule, and work strategy using work breakdown structure with resource & Cost loaded.
• Update Weekly, continuously monitor against approved schedules, major construction progress and Resources are adequate or in case of any shortage report to project Manager and review the same from subcontractor.
• Prepare in detail the recovery schedule if required and ensure manpower and site supervision staffs are increased properly from Main and sub-contractors. Monitor major milestones that have been met and report any deficiencies to Project Manager/ Top Management of Main sub-contractors.
• Ensure submission of all daily, weekly and monthly reports to consultants including Subcontractors. Attending weekly progress meeting and preparing the reports.
• Prepare time impact claims / EOT and prepare assessment for the project manager/management. Review design changes/Trend Notices and assess time impact.
• Monitor and advise the construction manager of any foreseen slippage of progress, Corrective actions to be taken and arrange coordination meeting between all related parties.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• 5+ Years of work experience in Building Projects
