Job Description

Job Role:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer with proven experience in malls. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality across all phases of construction, from structural works to finishes, services, and handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor the QA/QC plan and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Conduct inspections for all construction activities including civil, MEP, architectural, and finishing works.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and client representatives on quality-related matters.
• Review project drawings, material submittals, method statements, and inspection test plans (ITPs).
• Monitor workmanship and materials to ensure adherence to approved standards and codes.
• Maintain all quality documentation including NCRs, MIRs, IRs, test reports, and QA/QC logs.
• Participate in internal and external audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure that all snagging and de-snagging work is completed as per quality expectations before handover.
• Provide technical support and training to site staff regarding quality standards and procedures.

Qualifications:

• MEP Engineers with minimum experience of 3 years in shopping malls.
• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience, with at least 23 years on mall or commercial building projects.
• Knowledge of CAFM System, Procurement, Generators, Capacitor Banks, Busbar, HV, LV, BMS, Fire Alarm.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, QA/QC standards, and construction materials.
• Experience with large-scale finishing works, faade systems, elevators, HVAC, fire safety systems, and other mall-related services.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems.
• Proficient in MS Office and QA/QC reporting tools.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
