Head of Legal – Sports Industry

Charterhouse is working with a leading name within the sports and marketing industry who are looking to hire a Head of Legal to cover their business activities across the Middle East and South Asia region.
This role will work very closely with their legal team in the group function in Asia but will have complete oversight and responsibility for the MESA activities. This role will take on a generalist nature, assisting with multiple different areas across commercial and corporate activities.
Due to the broad coverage of this role, the Head of Legal can expect exposure across varying areas such as; legal support and advice across the group’s business activities, drafting commercial contracts, general advice around company structure and formation, overseeing governance and compliance, act as company secretary across various entities.
This truly is an outstanding opportunity for a generalist commercial lawyer with an interest in sports to join an organisation at the forefront of the sports industry across the MESA region.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate should ideally be between 6 to 8 years PQE across commercial law. Having previously worked in the sports industry would be extremely advantageous but having a passion and interest in the industry is a must.
