Job Overview:
Here's your chance to step into the role of Senior Manager - Income Audit. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:
- Support financial reporting strategy, ensuring compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and local regulations.
- Oversee income audit activities, including GL to POS reconciliation and review of rebates, discounts, and comps.
- Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in line with ASC 606 / IFRS 15 standards.
- Guide teams to meet SLAs, track KPIs, and close operational gaps in reporting.
- Collaborate with legal and sales teams to assess revenue implications in contracts.
- Act as the main escalation point for audit and revenue issues, ensuring swift resolution.
- Lead and manage a team handling income audit and financial data accuracy.
- Drive process improvements through automation and adoption of best practices.
- Perform analytical reviews to identify revenue trends and anomalies, reporting insights to management.
- Promote a culture of compliance, continuous learning, and service excellence within the team.
About You:
The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Professional certifications (CA, CPA, ACCA) preferred
- 7+ years of experience in general ledger and income audit processes
- Strong expertise in financial controls, compliance, and governance frameworks
- Proven track record in stakeholder management and service excellence
- Strong leadership and relationship management skills with a customer focused approach
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of finance function and processes
- Experience working in a finance shared services is preferred
- Experience working in the Middle East region is preferred
